Sudan is one of China's most important trading partners in Sub-Saharan Africa.<br /><br />But the relationship is not purely economic.<br /><br />China has been promoting its culture in Sudan through opening cultural centres, organising exhibition, and sending Sudanese students to study in Chinese universities.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Mohamed Vall reports from Khartoum, the Sudanese capital.
