Iran's Ahmadinejad arrives in Caracas for Chavez's wake

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas on Friday to to pay his respects to President Hugo Chavez after his death earlier this week.<br/> <br />Ahmadinejad said he will greatly miss the charismatic leader.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Farsi with Spanish translation) IRAN'S PRESIDENT, MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD, SAYING:<br/> <br />"He was a dear friend to all the countries of the world. To us, President Chavez's loss is very painful because we've lost a friend - a close friend - and a revolutionary and just leader."<br/> <br />Venezuela announced that Chavez will be embalmed and put on display permanently at a military museum after a state funeral and an extended period of lying in state. The government says more than 2 million supporters have viewed it since Wednesday.<br/> <br />Chavez died on Tuesday aged 58 after a two-year battle with cancer. He was president for of venezuela for 14 years.
