More than 900 of them.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Unidentified Shanghai resident saying (Mandarin) :<br/> <br />"You can see dead pigs here every day and every year, and there are even more now than those in the past few years."<br/> <br />The mysterious deaths could be a threat to the drinking water and Authorities have started retrieving the bodies to prevent contamination.<br/> <br />Shanghai environmental agency is investigating the dead swine and local water samples so far show signs of having been affected.
