Japanese officials and residents mark the two year anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami that claimed the lives of some 20,000 people in the country's worst natural disaster in history.<br/> <br />On March 11th, 2011 a tsunami wave triggered by the 9.0 magnitude earthquake washed ashore and destroyed everything in it's path.<br/> <br />Further destruction in the form of a nuclear meltdown- major damage to the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Diaiichi nuclear power planet released radiation into the air and sea and prompted a nationwide backlash against the use of nuclear power.<br/> <br />On Monday, workers at the company's headquarters observed a moment of silence.<br/> <br />Prime Minister Shinzo Abe posted a message on YouTube.
