The European Parliament has backed a motion to make EU farming subsidies more transparent.<br /><br />MEPs called for the names of all beneficiaries of Common Agricultural Policy funding to be made public.<br /><br />No farm, unless it is a cooperative, would receive more than 300,000 euros a year.<br /><br />The parliament's proposal will now be negotiated with the European Commission and EU member states.<br /><br />...<br />http://www.euronews.net/
