South Korean officials say a massive cyber attack at several television networks and two major banks the day before has been linked to an IP address in China.<br/> <br />This has raised suspicions in South Korea that the attack originated in the North.<br/> <br />Previous attacks on a South Korean newspaper that were traced back to North Korea had also used a Chinese IP address.<br/> <br />Wednesday's attack affected some 32,000 computers at TV networks and banks, and took hours for technicians to restore.<br/> <br />The North has, in the past, targeted South Korean newspapers, banks and government institutions with cyber attacks.
