A whiteout on a Canadian highway triggered a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday (March 2), leaving around 100 people injured.<br/> <br />The crash happened near Edmonton as 10 centimetres of snowfall swept in.<br/> <br />Several people have been taken to hospital, including one in a serious condition.<br/> <br />Emergency services are working to clear areas of the road which closed as vehicles became trapped in the snow.<br/> <br />Officials report delays of up to six hours.
