The first single from the album, A Distant Memory, is a four-minute, hook-laiden pop rock tune, featuring a thumping bass line, wall-of-sound guitars, and a gut-wrenching vocal performance.

The single was recently nominated in the finals of the Queensland Music Awards 2011 Pop Category.
Liam Griffin's first release in 2007, the critically acclaimed Pictures EP, drew favourable comparisons to Coldplay, Silverchair, and Pink Floyd.

Pictures was added to radio playlists nationally and received placements in film and television in Australia and America. Over the years, Liam Griffin has developed into a diverse and experienced performer, with an array of live performance credits at venues across Australia and Canada.

He has appeared at festivals including the 2007 North By North East Festival in Toronto, the 2high Festival in 2005, 2006 and 2008, and the Valley Fiesta in 2008.

He has shared the stage with The Gin Club, Epicure, Inland Sea, Gin Wigmore, Bobby Flynn, The Kill Devil Hills, David Ross McDonald (The Waifs) and Kate Miller-Heidke.

http://liamgriffinmusic.com/

Tune in again to BalconyTV //
