(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Thousands of homes were left without power in Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern England as more snow fell across the United Kingdom on Sunday (March 24).<br/> <br />A late blast of winter weather has drained Britain's already modest gas stocks to around a tenth of their capacity, sparking fears of supply restrictions, with the cold weather forecast to continue into early April.<br/> <br />In Scotland, about 1,500 homes in the north and west of Arran were without power.<br/> <br />Temperatures were expected to hover around freezing for most of the United Kingdom for the next few days.
