ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Christian worshippers in the West Bank town of Bethlehem held a candlelit mass on the eve of Holy Saturday in the Church of the Nativity, revered as the birthplace of Jesus.<br/> <br />The annual mass takes place ahead of Easter Sunday.<br/> <br />Clergymen lit candles from coals in the church yard, and later worshippers lit each other's candles and watched a procession of clergymen entering the church.<br/> <br />Inside the church, people in the crowd held candles and sang while clergymen were holding mass at the altar.<br/> <br />The Easter holiday culminates on Easter Sunday when Christians believe Jesus rises from the dead, three days after being crucified.
