Protests over a prisoner's death turn violent.<br/> <br />Palestinians clashed with Israeli police in Jerusalem and Hebron on Tuesday, over the death of a Palestinian inmate who died in prison of cancer.<br/> <br />Outside the walls of Jerusalem's Old City, protests erupted into clashes with police, who responded with stun grenades and arrested three people.<br/> <br />The protests were over 64-year old Maysara Abu Hamdeya, sentenced to life in prison for plotting a failed bomb attack on a Jerusalem café.<br/> <br />His early release was initiated last week after doctors diagnosed his cancer as terminal.<br/> <br />But he died in an Israeli hospital Tuesday before the release could be processed.<br/> <br />In the West Bank city of Hebron, Abu Hamdeya's home town, supporters hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli soldiers, who fired back with tear gas grenades.<br/> <br />No serious injuries were reported.<br/> <br />Abu Hamdeya is the second Palestinian to die in Israeli custody this year.<br/> <br />A 30 year-old man die
