U.S. President Barack Obama continues to press for new gun laws in a speech in Colorado Wednesday.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"It's now been just over 100 days since the murder of 20 innocent children and six brave educators in Newtown, Connecticut shocked this<br/> <br />country into doing something to protect our kids.<br/> <br />Gun legislation has stalled on Capitol Hill.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"And every day we wait to do something about it, even more are stolen from our lives by a bullet from a gun."<br/> <br />Analysts say the best chance of success for gun-control advocates is that Congress will approve universal background checks for gun buyers and tougher penalties for gun trafficking.<br/> <br />Less likely to pass are bans on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips, two of the main proposals to emerge from Vice President Joe Biden's gun violence task force, formed by Obama after the Newtown sho
