(ROUGH CUT -- NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Indian forest wardens rescued a three-year old leopard which had fallen into an open well in Gujarat state.<br/> <br />An eight-member team of wardens reached the site after a local farmer spotted the animal in the village of Aambaliya.<br/> <br />Eventually the leopard was tranquillised and hauled out of the well on a charpoy - a small wooden-framed bed.<br/> <br />Locals complained of similar incidents in the past.<br/> <br />Instances of wild animals like leopards and tigers straying into residential areas are not a new thing.<br/> <br />India's big cats are under threat with many poached for their fur and for their body parts.<br/> <br />The leopards' natural habitats are also under threat, forcing the animals to move into human settlements as they try to find food.
