Public transportation, and in particular railways networks, have a central role to play in our modern economies, both in order to foster growth and economic development, and as a tool to achieve our CO2 emissions' reduction targets. Railways are therefore not surprisingly one of the important topics under policy reflection in Sweden, as they are in France. <br /><br />Organized by the French Embassy in Sweden and KTH-Royal Institute of Technology on November 27th 2012, this seminar gathered high-level policy makers, experts and business representatives of Sweden and France, and covered the different aspects of railways from a policy perspective.
