Thousands of Roman artefacts have been unearthed in an archaeological dig hailed as 'the most important excavation ever held in London'. <br /><br />The find gives an extrarodinary insight into life in the city before it was Britain's capital. <br /><br />The treasure trove was uncovered near the River Thames at a building site in the city's financial district. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Paul Brennan reports.
