The sounds of Motown have hit Broadway.<br /> <br />Record company founder Berry Gordy Jr., Diana Ross and Smokey Robinson hit the red carpet in New York to celebrate the opening of the highly anticipated musical.<br /> <br />Before heading in to the show Ross was filled with anticipation.<br /> <br />SOUNDBITE: Diana Ross, singer, saying (English):<br /> <br />"These are wonderful memories. I look forward to walking in there and feeling the music."<br /> <br />Motown: The Musical features hits ranging from "Do You Love Me" to "Dancing in the Street".<br /> <br />Ross and Gordy's relationship is shown beginning in Paris, to The Temptation's hit "My Girl".<br /> <br />After the show the duo talked about thrill of opening night.<br /> <br />SOUNDBITE: Berry Gordy, Motown founder, saying (English):<br /> <br />"The cast was on tonight. I mean it was on tonight because it was opening night and they gave a little more.
