Polls have closed in Iraq's regional elections, which has been marred by some violence. <br /><br />It was the first vote to been held without the help of US authorities, after troops pulled out of the country in late 2011.<br /><br />Apart from three small bombings, it hass been a smooth run for Iraqi security forces.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jane Arraf reports from Baghdad.
