A local TV reporter went on air and started to cover breaking news in a wedding dress on Saturday after a 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck Ya'an city in southwestern China's Sichuan province.<br/> <br />Chen Ying was getting her makeup done at a local photographic studio ahead of her wedding when the quake hit.<br/> <br />"I am standing at the Holiday Plaza. Fifteen minutes ago, a strong quake struck. But there haven't been casualties in this area where I am standing. Our residents in Ya'an have taken effective measures to prevent damages. I hope our city will be safe," Chen said in her piece-to-camera.<br/> <br />Appearing on air in a wedding gown and veil, Chen went viral online, with many calling her "the most beautiful bride" in the world.<br/> <br />The toll of the dead and missing from the country's worst earthquake in three years has climbed to 203 with at least 11,250 injuries, according to government figures.
