In a surprise move by U.S. prosecutors, charges have been dropped against a man accused of sending poisoned letters to President Barack Obama.<br/> <br />Authorities searched the home of a second Mississippi man on Tuesday (April 23), as the case against Paul Kevin Curtis was dismissed.<br/> <br />He had been charged with mailing ricin-tainted letters to the president and two other high-profile officials.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: (English) PAUL KEVIN CURTIS SAYING:<br/> <br />"I respect President Obama, I love my country and would never do anything to pose a threat to him or any other U.S. official. This past week has been a nightmare for myself and my family. My mother has suffered and so have my children."<br/> <br />Court documents say the letters contain the same eight-line message which includes the initials "KC".<br/> <br />They were intercepted before reaching their destinations.
