Robert Downey Jr. arrived on the red carpet Wednesday night (April 24) for the Hollywood premiere of "Iron Man 3," wearing the role of billionaire-playboy-philanthropist, Tony Stark, like a suit that he is well familiar with...and after all, he is.<br/> <br />The latest film in franchise is expected to add another successful chapter to the series that has come to define the term, "summer blockbuster."<br/> <br />Downey Jr. adds though that the "Iron Man" films are more than just special effects.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE Robert Downey Jr. saying (English):<br/> <br />"Is not leaning on them and realizing that is not what makes the movie good. Yet, there are hundreds of men and women who are the backbone of this franchise and I tip my hat to them."<br/> <br />The film's talented cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Sir Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce.<br/> <br />"Iron Man 3" opens in U.S. theaters on May 3, kicking off the summer movie season.
