Thursday, April 25, 2013. Mom had just placed a small stick on top of her three week old eaglet and then starts to move some loose nest material around next to the little one as if to try a arouse it. It was reminiscent of my mother trying to get me to wake up and come to the breakfast table when I was very young. It takes a lot of patience and persistence on the mothers part, but after a while the young eaglet gives in, lifts it head and starts to eat.
