The streets are unusually quiet in Pakistan's biggest city, Karachi, on Sunday.<br/> <br />Security is tight after a spate of attacks at electoral gatherings over the past week.<br/> <br />More than 20 people have been killed and dozens injured in the attacks, which have targeted mainly secular political parties.<br/> <br />Some Karachi residents said the blasts would prevent people from voting.<br/> <br />This man says it isn't worth risking a life to cast a vote.<br/> <br />On Saturday, at least two people were killed and 25 injured in successive blasts near an election office.<br/> <br />Another bomb an hour later injured at least 20.<br/> <br />Rescue workers rushed the injured to the nearby civil hospital where a young victim died from her injuries.<br/> <br />The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan party has claimed responsibility for all bombings and has threatened to continue similar attacks on the three secular parties.
