And also, Paris does not represent France.] <br />My Couchsurfing guest Geneviève from Montréal and I were speaking in French during her visit in Amsterdam (I'm Irish by the way), so I decided to sit down down with her and talk with her about some differences and history behind Quebec French. <br />We both agreed that there are some major problems in speaking with French people (although this was only my experience in Paris; the rest of France were much nicer to me), and she shared some of her other thoughts on travelling in Europe. <br />I hope you enjoy the interview; it's been four years since I lived among Francophones, so hopefully my level of French hasn't gone down *too* much!
