ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />More than a year after giving her first public speech at a a hospice for sick children, Kate Middleton has devoted her first-ever video message to the same cause.<br/> <br />The Duchess of Cambridge has recorded a video message highlighting the work of children's hospices to mark Children's Hospice Week, which runs from April 26 to May 3.<br/> <br />The wife of Queen Elizabeth II's eldest grandson, Prince William, delivered the message from Clarence House wearing a black dress with white collar.<br/> <br />"Children's hospices provide lifelines to families at a time of unimaginable pain. The support they give is vital," the pregnant duchess said in her inaugural video.<br/> <br />The video message was released on the internet on Sunday (April 28) in support of Children's Hospice Week Campaign run by the charity Together for Short Lives.
