Blood on the streets - a bomb in the Pakistani city of Peshawar kills eight people, including the son of an influential Afghan cleric.<br/> <br />More than 45 were wounded in the suspected suicide attack, which appeared to be aimed at the convoy of a city official, police said.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Urdu) POLICE SUPERINTENDENT MOHAMMAD FAISAL, SAYING:<br/> <br />"According to our information so far, a motorcycle had been prepared with explosives, and the suicide bomber exploded that motorcycle. There were around five or six kilogrammes of explosive material on that bike."<br/> <br />Many of those killed and wounded were reportedly waiting for a bus.<br/> <br />Among the dead was Qari Hilal, the son of prominent religious leader Qazi Amin Waqad - a member of Afghanistan's High Peace Council, which is trying to draw the Afghan Taliban into peace talks.<br/> <br />A doctor at the hospital where the casualties were taken said two of the dead were Afghan refugees.<br/> <br />The blast is the latest in a series of attacks a
