In an interview with 'Generation Bangladesh', Mamnun Moorshed talks about the possible cause of 'Rana Plaza' collapse at Savar, Dhaka. He says it is very difficult to identify the culprit specifically without proper investigation. He mentions three major possible causes of the collapse. According to him, the building might have collapsed due to the lack of proper construction design, disproportionate use of construction element and the heavy load imposed upon the building. He says the authority or regulatory bodies are responsible to monitor the building in their own concerned sector. Therefore, the RAJUK, BGMEA, Environment Ministry, Electricity Supplier or Gas Supplier cannot deny their role herein. All these bodies are interlinked with one another. Consequently, we see that they are blaming one another for the collapse.
