The Opposition is in no mood to relent as the demand for the resignation of Law Minister Ashwani Kumar, who is in the eye of a storm over Coalgate controversy and Railway Minister P K Bansal, whose nephew was arrested in a bribery case, grows in both the Lok Sabha as well as the Rajya Sabha. With both houses of the Parliament were disrupted by the Opposition, the government is now playing the populism card, pushing the food security bill. Despite government's attempts to divert attention, BJP's Parliamentary committee has decided to stop the house from functioning till the Law minister and the Railway minister resign. Meanwhile, the BJP Yuva Morcha on Tuesday (May 7) protest against PK Bansal in Chandigarh and Kanpur.
