This recipe is an extra tasty, summer-inspired twist on the beloved breakfast staple. This makes enough for two people and takes about 5 mins to prepare, and about 10 mins to make. Enjoy! <br /><br />Full Recipe <br />Ingredients: <br />Four slices of bread <br />Three eggs (preferably, Omega eggs) <br />Four tablespoons desiccated coconut <br />Two teaspoons Olive or Canola oil <br />Cinnamon <br />Maple syrup or honey <br /><br />Preparation: <br />Break and beat the three eggs in wide dish <br />Place desiccated coconut in a small bowl <br />Dip both sides of the bread in the egg batter and set aside on large flat dish <br />Sprinkle a tablespoon of desiccated coconut on top of bread slices <br />(sprinkle top side only) <br />Put teaspoon of Olive or Canola oil on pre-heated (medium) non-stick ceramic frying pan <br />Place slice of bread (one or two slices at a time, depending on pan size) on frying pan <br />When the bread turns golden brown, turn side over (about 1-2 minutes) <br />Cook side that's coated with desiccated coconut for about 1 minute <br />Place slices on plate <br />Sprinkle with cinnamon and then drizzle with maple syrup or honey <br />Serve and eat warm <br /><br />Music: Beach Front Celebration - Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)
