NO REPORTER NARRATION.<br/> <br />Torrential rain in southern China's Guangdong province has affected more than 30,000 people with one killed in the floods, state media reported on Friday (May 10).<br/> <br />Since Tuesday (May 7), heavy rain continuously swept across parts of Guangdong province,China state news agency Xinhua reported.<br/> <br />Yangjiang is one of the hardest hit cities in the southern province, with flood waters stranding vehicles and houses in low-lying areas on Friday, China's state television CCTV reported on Saturday (May 11).<br/> <br />CCTV showed footage of cars submerged, with some stuck in floodwaters almost as high as their roofs.<br/> <br />Shops and homes are not spared, with many people left waddling through waist-high water.
