14th August 2012 <br /><br />Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah alongwith members of the Sindh cabinet visited mausoleum of father of the nation, <br />Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to pay homage to the great leader on 65th Independence Day of the country. <br /><br />They also laid floral wreaths, offered fateha and marked their impressions in the visitors' book at the Mazar-e-Quaid. <br /><br />Sindh Ministers including Pir Mazhar-ul-haq, Mohan Lal, Haji Muzaffar Shujra and Rafiq Engineer, Shoaib Bukhari, Provincial Advisors, Rashid Rabbani, Haleem Adil Sheikh, Sharmila Farooqi and Siddiq Abu Bhai, head of Pakistan Hindu Council ex-MPA Ramesh Kumar, Administrator Karachi, Muhammad Hussain Syed and Commissioner Karachi, Roshan Ali Shaikh, Inspector General Sindh Police, Fayyaz Leghari and other notables were also accompanied with the governor Sindh. <br /><br />Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan and Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah hoisted the national flag, while the national anthem was also read. <br /><br />Total 65 pigeons were also freed in the air on the occasion of the Independence day of the country. <br /><br />The students of different schools wearing color outfits also presented various national songs, which were highly appreciated by the audience. <br /><br />Foreign ambassadors, seior government officials and people in large number also visited the Mazar-e-Quaid to show their affection for the founder of Pakistan.
