  • App keeps signing me out

    The Britbox app keeps signing me out. I used it on Apple TV. This used to happen every few weeks, but now I’m finding that I’m prompted to sign in almost every time I use Britbox. This needs to be asap or I’m probably going to cancel my subscription. Not sure why it hasn’t been addressed as it’s been going on for several months and is more frequent recently. I’ll give it 2 more weeks. Efix for this should be a priority.

    My subscription runs until the 25th of April. Britbox cancelled it already on the 24th, if they steal one day from every subscriber that cancels or pauses, I wonder how much money they make from us paying but are unable to watch.

    Been dealing with this for months. App demands password. Confirm. App still demands password. Eventually, delete app. Reinstall. Enter password. Confirm. Works for the session. Next session, same drill. I have several AppleTV devices and all have the same issue. Totally frustrating

    For the love of God, please please please I’m begging you please add the ability to reset recently watched so that it doesn’t constantly ask me if I want to continue or restart I’m watching Doctor Who for the second time and constantly have to press restart on each one

    Dear BritBox, I use the app through Apple TV. For the last several days when I attempt to use BritBox, I’m forced to login before the app content is available to me. And I’ve had to delete and reload the app several times. Kindly do your due diligence in checking the app before it’s released. Thank you.
  • TV app is rubbish.

    The TV app is absolutely unacceptable. When I go into the app to look at a particular season and select it and hit the OK button, it always goes to the 1st season, not the one I have selected. Periodically it will keep asking for my password, but if I hit Cancel five or six times then it will go into the app. I have gone back-and-forth with the Britbox customer service people three or four times, even sending them a video of the problem. What I mostly get is canned responses, I don’t know if any person has ever actually paid any attention to the problem. It always ends with somebody saying that they have sent the problem to technical support, and then after a few days I get a message saying that since they haven’t heard from me, my problem is marked as having been solved. Which I assume means they’re not going to pay more attention to me. Unbelievable.

    Constantly asks for password. Acorn never does this. The AppleTV also doesn’t provide an easy way to input the password - their is no QR code or even compatibility to let me input the password using my iPhone - instead I have to do it one letter at a time using my Apple TV remote. Since I am responsible and have a long random password this takes a long time. And I have to do it once or twice per week! Again, no other app in AppleTV makes me do this!
