    I really enjoy this game but you need diamonds to play. You purchase decorating items and can store them in your vault to use on future designs, but there is a limit to how many times you could use them. If you don’t have enough diamonds to complete a design then you will be required to purchase diamonds. For example the average sofa cost anywhere from 2500-4500 diamonds, you can purchase 3000 diamonds for $1.99.. also the game claims that the other players vote on your designs, but it feels very much driven by how much money you spend. I really enjoy using the app but can’t continue to spend $5.00 on one design.

    I have played this game for years and have always enjoyed it. However, they have now changed the scoring system, raised prices on everything and there are daily glitches. Don’t download this game unless you have money to burn. Their customer service is a joke! You complain and you get canned responses from a bot. Pass on this game!

    The new changes have ruined this game. The fast results, etc. I’ve been playing since 2018 and I quit. Playing Redecor which is meh and Garden Joy. Goodbye!

    Why bothering having different styles and drop down to choose that furniture if people can put whatever they want and get voted up anyway. Why have a brief if someone is going to use the wrong furniture and make the rank page. If you want to attempt to compete you need to be prepared to invest real money.

    I have played this game for years but now it lags and keeps telling me check internet connection but there’s nothing wrong with my internet. Then it automatically kicks me out and restarts. Ugh so frustrating because I love this app.

  • Expensive Fun

    I love designing and playing the game. However everything is so expensive and most times you can’t eve enter a challenge because you don’t have enough diamonds or money to meet all the requirements. Also voting/judging seems a bit unfair because you’re competing with everyone, even the TOP designers who’s been playing for forever with better options and inventory so you’ll never win a challenge. UPDATE: 5/1/25 I am so upset that I’ve invested money and time into this game. At this point I truly feel like I’m being ripped off! Having to jump through loops to get what’s rightfully yours and not being able to contact customer support is ridiculous! I will be deleting this game and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else!

    I’ve loved playing this game since 2017, but the new changes have been atrocious. Many play with real money, including me, but I will no longer be pouring money down the drain. The changes in voting have been frustrating. Not knowing when you’ll get a score back greatly reduces the dopamine effect which is the way these games stay in business. Everything’s gotten entirely too expensive, with no good reward. I’m sad bc I have lived this game and the community for so long, but the joy is gone from DH. Sad to see what greed and an unwillingness to care what your players feel, which will be the end of the entire game if something isn’t changed.

    I used to love this game, and I spent a lot of money on it. I’ve played for 5 years. When EA took over, though, they ruined everything I loved about it. Their payment platform xsolla is a rip off. I finally had to get my credit card company involved and they blocked the charge, but EA was absolutely no help at all. I finally deleted the game. I was so over it. It’s a free game but to have any good designs, you have to spend money. Now that it’s owned by EA, it’s not worth the money. They added all of this extra stuff to a game that was fine the way it was. They ruined it.

  • Too many changes!

    I have spent sooo much money on this game and I’m finally going to quit because of all the changes. Random voting and random showing of recent 5.00 scores no longer related to recent personal scores. I always equate this kind of thing to the disastrous New Coke promotion that flopped because people do Not like changes. Thanks for the good times and saving me money now in the future.
