    It’s 2025 an motogp app development team didn’t release dark mode for the app , what a shame really , F1 did released dark mode for their app this year , yet motogp is falling behind F1 as a sport in real life also failing behind F1 in terms of developing their official IOS app .

  • Frustrating, but functional

    This app and video pass as a whole has got to be one of the most frustrating parts of watching MotoGp. The on demand videos are never posted in a timely manner and the live feed is very early in the morning here. So I am stuck waiting sometimes hours to watch the race while hoping the MotoGp social accounts don’t spoil it for me or my wife. Which happens to one of us at least once every weekend. It’s frustrating I spend 2 hours Sunday morning refreshing the feed to see if I can watch the video. If I start the live feed late there is no “start from beginning” function so I’m just plopped into the middle or end of a race and have to close my eyes to hope I don’t spoil it. It’s absolutely ridiculous; when I specifically pay Dorna directly for an app to watch the races I get probably the worst experience of any viewer. If this doesn’t get better I’m not going to buy video pass again, waste of money.

  • Good staring point but with big misses

    Major miss in functionality is ‘start from beginning’ for a session already started. This means that if you are not catching the race start at exactly the right time, the only option you have (if you don’t want to be spoiled) is waiting the 2 hours it takes for the session to finish and be made available. Also in the archive, it’s very difficult to find the right order of races - they’re not sorted well.

    For the price the app should work better. It doesn’t do well with chromecast but it gets the job done with Apple TV

    Multiple user interface issues, like resetting your password or fast forwarding and reversing. It can be frustrating and disappointing.

    I subscribed to the app for the full year. The app freezes frequently enough for me to write this negative review on it. Get better app developers. Paying over $100 per year for an app that doesn’t consistently work in 2025 is ridiculous.

    Been a subscriber for over 10 years. Seriously considering canceling after this season. My son and I share this account and will watch separate races at times. Sometimes I will have moto2 playing on the iPad while I watch motogp on the TV. Why do I do this? Because my time is very limited so I multitask. Oh and my son lives in my house. Why has Dorna decided I can’t have multiple streams going on in the same household? From the same IP! If I’m working weekends out of town, I can’t watch a race in my spare time if my son is at home watching a race. This is way too restrictive. I may just try watching it through Fox Sports on my YouTube Tv.

    The app does what it needs to but constantly functions incorrectly. Especially when streaming to a TV. Often the screen won’t display on the phone making scrubbing impossible. The developers need to spend much more time working with the app when casting elsewhere to iron out the kinks
