Tonebridge Guitar Effects

App was working fine on my MBP. Hadn't used it in a while, went to login, asked me to sign in so I used the Sign-in with Apple method, which works fine on my iPhone 15 PM, and I get a Provider Not Supported error everytime. Tried to reset my PW, that fails as well. So annoying.

I've been glued to my guitar for 3 hours every day since installing this, compared to my usual 20 minutes a day. Thank you for the incredible motivation to play more!

Man i really really really wish someone from UG would read this and help because now I'm dead in the water. I had spent a week building this song using guitar tones from ToneBridge because literally no other plugin gave me the tone even close to what i wanted. Everything was great, then yesterday, suddenly it stopped working. All guitar tracks are raw, and the ToneBridge tab in the channel is now greyed out and wont open. Going through the Logic plug-in manager, checking the boxes and scanning now Fails validation 9 out of 10 times, and even if it passes, it wont open. I'm pulling my hair out over here because of this.

I can't in good faith give higher than a 2 star rating for this outdated, and clunky app. If Ultimate Guitar isn't going to put any effort into improving this, they might as well discontinue it.

BY FAR the most convenient effects/amp setup thing i've found to date when it comes to practicing and learning. so long as you have a decent DI/interface, at least. What's nice is that it ties in to ultimate-guitar.com (who I just noticed apparently make this app), which is my favorite tab site, and all the tones are linked to associated tab and whatnot. You set your input and volume and whatnot once (and not every time you open the app) and it has a fantastic lazy search and, yeah. In 30 seconds I can plug my guitar into my scarlett, open tonebridge, type "blood and thunder" and in two clicks I've got a near-perfect tone match coming through my computer speakers and the tab for the song up on my screen. Just so much less futzing around before you can actually start playing. Even compared to Apple's Mainstage, the standalone garage-band-esq guitar pedal app, the It's exactly what I've been looking for for years. I haven't actually tried building my own tones yet to measure just how flexible it can be, but in so far as the matching is concerned, considering all the submissions are community based, it's pretty spot on. And being able to quickly tap the space bar to hear a sample of the tone as you're browsing them (sometimes even playing the referenced song-in-question, at least if its in one of their collections) makes browsing through them or finding out which _part_ of a particular song the tone is referencing super fast. I just hope ultimate-guitar keeps this app updated so it doesn't disappear on me like so many other great guitar and music tools over the years (RIP iPad rebirth).

It was great in logic or garage band. Now it doesnt work at all and its pretty frustrating you can't record while using this app.

Using this with Focuarite Scarlet Solo. I had it running 10 minutes after downloading. Fantastic clean and clear effects. Huge variety. Much better than those included with GarageBand.

This app blew my mind! I'm learning electric guitar after starting with acoustic. Since I already use Ultimate Guitar, it works great with tabs I already use. Seems to work fine on an M1 Mac. Latency is very low and it Just Works™. I like how you can see which pickups to use, and the effects chain with fun graphics for each. In fact, I wish these were more easily findable and easier to display and adjust. Perhaps a drawer or mode to show the kit when using them. Integration with one's Ultimate Guitar account could be further improved — show me songs I have saved ("my tabs") for example. Overall, a simple and fun effects kit with surprising range.
