I’ve been using this app for over a year and paid $1.99 to remove ads. However, they recently changed their payment model to a monthly subscription and are no longer honoring the previous purchase I made to remove ads. Now, if I want to remove ads, I have to pay $5 per month. The worst part is that these aren’t just normal ads, they added video ads where you have to wait a few seconds to skip it. Very bad practice from this developer. I would look elsewhere.

I began using with my second tray of aligners. It has help develop muscle memory. The ability to adjust time when I forget to take out or return aligners is a huge help.

Really love this app. The time tracking has helped tremendously and the teethie photo comparisons are really cool. Keeps me motivated during my journey.

The new full screen ads destroy the usability of the free version - I often need to adjust the timestamp of when I put the aligners back on, but any tab change now starts an endless ad. Couldn’t you just add a banner? I’d happily pay for this app to support the devs but a $5 a month subscription is too much for what it’s worth.

Was good until the most recent (early Dec 2025) “user experience” upgrade when they introduced full screen non-skippable ads. Up to this update, ads did not impact functionality.

Such a great help during my Invisalign treatment. I’m so glad that I came across this app while on this journey.

Before it was a simple app to keep track of wear time. Paid the one time fee prior to use it, thought that was the end of it. Now? Paywalling several features that I already paid for, paywalling new features (such as live activities), and finally, a constant, incessant push to pay for their TrayMinder+ nonsense. A full banner ad is now at the bottom of the app, an app that I already paid for. I could not recommend it enough to consider other apps, there are alternatives that are not nearly as awful.

I have been using the TrayMinder for a little over one week and I have found it to be very helpful and assisting me with tracking how long I have my aligners in. I would recommend this app to assist you in ensuring that your aligners are in for the time that has been recommended by your orthodontist.

The absolute easiest way to throw away your user base is taking away a feature and telling them they now have to pay for it. Teethies were the last reason I continued using this app and now that it’s paywalled I have no reason to ever open this app again.

This once great app has been ruined by the recent subscription- model update. I get continual reminders to start wearing when I’ve already recorded that I am wearing the trays. Followed all the uninstall directions and it’s still happening.
