Perfect, works as expected, neat and tidy, and honestly interesting to keep track of. I haven't been able to loctate the option to make an actual widget as shown in image 2... Maybe make that a little more clear? Thank you for the great app, totally worth it!
Menu Bar Moon Phase Icon Inverted

I've used the fantastic Selznick MoonMenu application for years, but it needs to be updated to be compatible with Catalina and later, so I gave this a try. It's a decent replacement, but as another reviewer noted, the moon phase icon is inverted in the menu bar, so that the illuminated portion of the moon is black, and the shadow portion is white. It's very disorienting and I would have to guess a pretty simple fix. Were it not for this, I'd give it 4 Stars in comparision to the Selznick application.
Bait & Switch

So apparently this is a trial version ... although nowhere is that stated. I can buy the full version for 99 cents ... but what am I buying? Full access to what? And for how long? Forever? For a year? A month? Don't you think you need to tell me that before you hold out your hand? And another reviewer already pointed out the confusing display that is the reverse of what it is in the app unless you're in dark mode ... so why even bother with this? I already have these features included in an app I own on my phone.
All I ever wanted...!

I have used a few different moon apps on my MacBook, but all I've ever really wanted is just a widget that opens at startup, lives permanently in my menu bar next to the weather widget, shows me at-a-glance which phase we're on, and expands with a drop-down window which tells me everything I need to know. The dropdown gives the current phase, the times for sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset, plus the date and time for the next full moon. Below that, there's a full calendar illustrating the lunar phases for the entire month.
My only nitpick—and this is such a minor quibble—is, when the UI is in "light mode," the menubar icon looks like it's reversed. This is to say, the filled-in portion looks like it's a shadow, when it's actually representing the part of the moon that is illuminated. This can be confusing! In "dark mode," however, it looks great.
Awesome app!
Disappointing and Deceiving

I wouldve given this app an A before today. I bought this app not seeing anywhere that I had to continue to fork out money $$$ to keep it working. To my surprise I opened the app and the calendar would not open unless I paid more money. I just bought the app in June 2020. So I guess in 3-4 months we get charged again and again.
Not bad. Needs some improvement.

This provides the info they promised, but the multiple locations feature is clunky. First, when I added Portland, it doesn't say which Portland, oregon or Maine. You can enter a Zip code, and that may be the solution, but you should be able to add the state.
Second, it doesn't tell you on the main screen what area you are looking at, you have to look at the list, which requires mouse movements and clicks.
A few lines of code and this would be perfect.
Menubar icon is inverted in light mode

I don't always use dark mode. In light mode, the moon is exactly wrong. I have no use for a wrong moon.
Doesn't update

A useful widget – but in my case, it doesn't update the moon/sun rise/set times either when I select another date in the displayed calendar or when I simply drop down the window. I have to quit the app and relaunch it to cause the times to update.
Pretty, pretty, pretty, neat….

Original App no longer works

I bought the full app earlier this year from the app store without limitations. It has been changed to an in-app purchase and my version hobbled. No response from developer. Save your money- don’t buy this ripoff.
