This software is an amazing reference, comprehensive and update bale with minor body objects so you can always find new comets etc. Great telescope control options and extremely intuitive. For the price an absolute steal.

This app does not run native on Apple Silicon. I contacted support, they have no plan on updating it. While it runs fine in emulation, this shows a lack of the promised “Complete macOS Support and regular updates.”
No import/backup/sync. No customer support.

Integral Part of Astrophotography

I've been using SkySafari for years. It's on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I use it for planning photography and driving my big telescope. It is an indispensable and integral part of astrophotography. Also entertaining during cloudy weather.

Great App for MacOS and my Skywatcher Mount

This app is a great tool for Astrophotography and just generally driving my telescope. It does require a bit of noodling to work with my Skywatcher Synscan Wifi connection, but once you figure it out, it is an outstanding combination!

Long time user, since Carina's Voyager Software. I always buy the Pro version when it's updated--hands down my *best* amateur astronomy investment.
Persistent Field of View Bug

The "Field of View" panel has had a bug for a while, where the selection you make is not properly reflected in the FOV displayed. E.g., I would select a combination of [Celestron EdgeHD 800 2.5x Barlow ASI662] and the FOV on the screen would be for a completely different combo [ESPRIT100 0.75 reducer ASI071mc]. It's really frustrating and I can't believe they have gone over a year without fixing this bug.

This is a disaster, it takes minutes to load and quite often it says app not responding.. It used to work fine.. Got the same issue with the regular Sky Sfari 6

“SkySafari 6 Pro.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “SkySafari 6 Pro.app” and download it again from the App Store.
Tried twice, and out 15 bucks. Junk.
DO NOT PURCHASE!
Yes, am running on a M1, but that's not exactly exotic hardware at this point.
