Update: it’s looking like I’m going to have to find a new side hustle to make extra money. Yesterday I was outside waiting in a “busy” hotspot zone for 3 hours and only made $4.50. Today I’ve been in a “busy” hot spot zone for 4 hours. I’ve only made $15 in all that time. And $10 of that had to go to gas. I can’t even make enough to fill up my gas tank. Normally I get grocery shopping orders paying $15-$25 but these past couple of days I have been getting NOTHING and customer “support” is absolutely no help. This is stressful and disheartening because I really need this money right now and I can usually depend on DoorDash for at least $20-$50 when I dash. Making $4.50 for several hours is criminal and they shouldn’t be allowed to have sitting around waiting for orders without paying for that time. I want to cry. Not only did I not make any money but I wasted valuable time I could have been doing something else or at least relaxing at home instead of sitting in my car stressing. I hate it. ————- Lately the app has been saying it’s busy and very busy but I’m not getting offered and I’m a “gold Member”. Please stop saying the app is busy if it’s not! Yesterday I sat outside for about 3 hours and made $4.50 in total. That is unacceptable especially considering you don’t pay dashers to wait for orders. I could have stayed home! Today I have been outside since 4pm It is now 5:47 and I’ve only Made $7.50. This is ridiculous.

I have been DoorDashing for well over a year and I’m a Platinum member. The DoorDash Dasher app is good, but it needs a few updates to make it great. 1). The most critical update should be to the navigation tool within the app: currently, the navigation tool is set to help you take the fastest route… the problem with this is that it does not alert the driver of any road closures due to car accidents or construction, (which is baffling as all other navigation apps have this figured out). The app struggles horribly to reroute you, and insists on taking the quickest route, often resulting in failure to arrive on time. Please update the navigation tool to include these safety features. 2). The Dasher App does not verify if you can lift more than 50 pounds repeatedly. Additionally, the offers that the Dasher receives does not indicate the weight of the order. Yesterday, the app took me to Lowe’s to pick up over one thousand pounds of river rock, and unfortunately, rejecting this order as a safety concern would have affected my ratings, so I feel it’s important for DoorDash and the customer to be transparent about the weight of the Customer’s Order as a means to prepare the Driver. 3). I am not seeing any follow up (by DoorDash) on any of the safety concerns I submit through the app. I see the email, but there is no follow up whatsoever. Overall I’m happy with the DoorDash Dasher app, but I feel I could be even happier with these critical updates.

Freezes all the time and just won’t work messing up hours of potential earnings!!!!!!

1. Offers should be based upon several factors: a.distance b.item weight c.item qty 2. Customers should be required to verify identification w/current photo i.d. and correct names 3. Dashers should be required to verify identification DAILY via facial recognition/i.d./biometrics/etc 4. Customers should be required to tip no less than $1 …. There’s more but here’s a start….

I’m not able to download my dasher app

I tried making an account but I guess since I made a different account when I just ordered DoorDash as a customer and I used my phone number on it and I let it get deactivated but now they think it’s fraud if I try using that same phone number as a Dasher. on top of that, they just track. It’s just a horrible app.

Waste of time and gas.
