DoorDash - Dasher

DoorDash makes way to much money for them to treat us like this why am I getting paid 2 bucks for a 10 mile order ? They are relying on people to tip but no one's tipping ???? It's not worth it gas is too much they are keeping all the money to themselves

As a Dasher, I’ve gotten to the point where I genuinely cannot recommend this app. And before anyone says it: my phone’s camera works perfectly. The problem is specifically with DoorDash’s own camera and scanning functions. The barcode scanner, receipt scanner, and the function for taking pictures of receipts inside the Dasher app are not working. Today, I spent roughly 40 minutes dealing with an issue that was caused by the DoorDash app. I contacted support and was transferred through FOUR different agents. One of the agents eventually acknowledged that it was an “app bug” that was preventing me from scanning and causing a long delay. At one point, support even asked whether I could pay for the order out of my own pocket and then seek reimbursement. The customer ultimately cancelled the order. I documented that I received $0 for the cancelled order, despite spending a significant amount of my time dealing with an issue caused by the DoorDash app. I then specifically asked DoorDash about compensation for the approximately 40 minutes I lost because of the app malfunction. I was told DoorDash would not pay me for the time I spent waiting. When I asked for the policy supporting that answer, support told me they didn't have that information and that policy information could be checked in the app. So let me get this straight: The app doesn't work. The app prevents me from completing the delivery normally. Support acknowledges it's an app bug. I lose roughly 40 minutes of my working time. I document receiving $0 for the cancelled order. And when I ask what policy governs compensation for the time lost because of DoorDash's own technical failure, support can't even provide me with the answer. For people who depend on this app to make money, these aren't minor inconveniences. Technical failures can cost Dashers real time and real money, while we're left dealing with the consequences of problems we didn't create.

Won’t give orders not fair we all need to make money!

No way there are reviews over 1 or 2 stars, DEFINITELY FAKE!!

Not only do you care about your Dashers but you don’t care about your customers find Nider orders and I had to spend one hour finding the right place. I just broke two packages of alcohol & its on you your fault don’t you forget!

This app is only good if you want to burn gas, you only make a dollar per mile, waisted 3 hours of my life to make 11$ thank you but no thank you

DD only pays you $2 to go get food, wait in the store, drive to an apartment complex, find the apartment, find a code to get out of apartment. Taking 30 minutes and NO TIP! Criminal

I was meant to get money after a dash and DoorDash instantly took it out after I ended a dash and when I called to get my money back they told me a whole bunch of foolishness and I didn’t get paid so DoorDash took my money worst app ever
