I can see everything in one place. Making me more confident about my money and where it’s going.
I would love to be able to pay bills through the app but maybe one day.
Net worth tracking without Ads

Loving this app. Lives up to description and more. Love that I was able to easily add my LLC and track it separately or as combined with personal. Have tried at least three other apps previously. None come close to Monarch.

I utilized the “free trial” and canceled it immediately when I knew I would NOT be using this anymore. All of a sudden they’re trying to bill me for an annual membership I did NOT sign up for. Stop trying to bill me!

My wife and I use a joint account and it has helped us navigate and track our income and expenses in one place. It allows us to put in all of our accounts, credit cards, and even financial goals. We love it and would highly recommend!

So good to see everything at once. All your accounts, total balances and track changes over time. The budget features the best I have used. The premium version does the best job of scenario planning I have used. I signed up for a free feee trials and this one wipes them all. Also allows you to track allocation across different investment accounts. And add small business tracking because as a freelancer it’s all a bit intermingled. Would recommend!
It’s great!

My wife loves being able to see every thing in one place. It took us 10 years to find this app. Thank you monarch!
Like every budget app, it sucks

Monarch on it’s surface looks great but like every other money app, they focus on features for budgeting long term, but fail to get the month to month right and thus failing to budget forecast correctly.
One example: Monarch forces your accounts to show statement amounts when sync’d. So for ex: I may have 3 credit cards, one with $1,000, one with $2,000, and one with $3,000 balances. Monarch surfaces this data as “you owe $6,000 this month” and shows the monthly recurring dollar amount as something atrociously high.
The statement amount and payment amount are not the same thing - the fact that you cant extrapolate that data automatically is one thing. But the fact that I cant MANUALLY set it either makes this app a complete waste of money. $100 a year for an app that can’t get the month to month numbers right is wild.
All of these apps fail to automate something incredibly simple. I end up manually tracking everything anyways with more confusing steps because theres an app in the way. I’ll go back to using my personal Claude app, because it’s free.
Satisfied with Monarch

I am enjoying the app so far. However, I wished it automatically added all of my information from last month or the month before last month regardless of the time you connect all of your accounts. Another thing I would like to see is connecting to all of my accounts easily. Majority are connected but I still have to correct the amount displayed on Monarch, for some reason.
Awesome software

I used Mint for years until it was bought and completely ruined by intuit. It took me a few different money apps to find Monarch and I love this app. I was very against paying for a budgeting app since I can be pretty handy with excel, the simplicity of use and the features that come with this software is awesome. I’d highly recommend giving this a try. Remember, the more time you spend categorizing and customizing, the better and more accurate your experience will be.

Monarch gets it right for me! I used Mint Mobile back in the day and loved it, then it changed and replacements were frustrating. Monarch reminds me of Mint and I find it easy to use.
