Battery killer

Don’t know what’s wrong with the app, but it kills my battery and heats my phone. Tracked a ton of usage to it so I downloaded the wireguard app and set up a Mullvad vpn profile on it instead. The wireguard app currently uses an order of magnitude less percent of my battery.
Reliable, feature rich, and fast for the features Mullvad brings to the table.

This has been the most stable and reliable VPN for mobile I have found. I frequently travel internationally and Mullvad still comes through. Great speeds at home over WiFi. Still get reasonable speeds while traveling internationally over cell networks. It’s a real good bang for its buck and simple to use for the up to date security it provides.
Terrible connection in China mainland

Look elsewhere if you’re traveling to China. Mobile version is barely acceptable and Mac version is straight trash.
Abysmal if needed in China

Honestly it’s constantly dropping, when it’s connected it’s slow. I am barely able to even use Google let alone what I needed it for.

Bypassing vpn?
3
By ded5557
Yea, I was logged into Mullvad and connected to the Netherlands and I logged into my Microsoft account and the recent login activity showed my real ip address instead of the vpns. Is this the fault of Mullvad? Or are some sites/services able to bypass vpns now?
The best VPN app and great price

I’ve tried other VPNs but Mullvad is the only service that I’ve continuously given money to. Like with most VPNs there’s a bit of a learning curve as to how to stay connected at all times, which ports to use, how to use on public WiFi networks, and how to minimize DNS leaks, but once you’ve got that down you can trust that you’re protected “On Demand.” If you’re new to VPNs I suggest keeping it simple, and unless you know what you’re doing stick to using known/suggested ports and use Mullvad’s DNS rather than a custom DNS to prevent leaks.

Do not know what version the other guy got, but the second thing this app asked for was money to add usage time.
And.
The app is unstable. Hard pass!
