  • App won’t open

    I’ve used this app in the past and I know it’s not too bad, but I can’t even open the app after I reinstalled it. I closed the app so many times and it says it’s signing me in but it just takes me back to the sign in page. Not only that but I deleted and reinstalled just to give it the benefit of the doubt but still nothing. I even tried a different sign in method and nothing.

    I love this app for its beautiful interface, ability to track my period w the moon cycles, the fact that it’s female owned and doesn’t sell your data BUT… I find the push notifications and information blurbs to be condescending, dumbed down, and kind of annoying lol. For example, I recently opened my phone to a push notification that said: “You have been scientifically classified as a Radioactively Sexy Substance today” and another day “Don’t worry, you’re not glitching. Your system is just upgrading ;)” Like.. I love to be updated and informed on my cycle so I don’t want to turn the notifications off but these tell me absolutely nothing of use and I feel like I’m being talked to like I’m a child. I would love a “normal notifications” option lol like: “you are ovulating today” or “you may experience cramps today.” It feels as though you think the women using this app are frivolous and stupid. Maybe it’s not that serious but I love this app otherwise and would like to keep using it without being talked down to lol! Anyway that’s my take. Thanks for the gorgeous app otherwise <3

    They have removed the mention of the encryption from their privacy policy! People have reviewed their claims and it’s false, they are no longer responding. Please delete ________ Update to reply: I hate the manipulation behind “we are a small team of 7 women”.. well the majority of your users are women, and you lied to us at a very scary, political time. Thank goodness that was exposed. You stated publicly that end to end encryption was used and that was shown as a lie. You got online and lied to scared women. Cannot and will not be able to trust a team that started that way.

    There are many menstrual apps out there, but this one is by far the best. There are so many options when logging your moods, symptoms, etc and it also takes other things into account like stress or if you take adderall.

  • great app for PMDD + some suggestions

    I’ve been using stardust for a while and it has been my favorite period tracker app so far! Especially as someone with PMDD stardust has been the best for tracking my symptoms and has been recommended to me by other people with PMDD. If the developers could consider adding some features specific for its users with PMDD I think that would really set this app apart to add to an already wonderful app! For example - having PMDD as a tracking goal, which would include different insights based on hormone cycle for the today section. Typically I’ll see notifications during my lutal phase about feeling relaxed, which may be typically accurate for someone without PMDD when progesterone spikes but not relevant for those who do have this condition. One decision I’ve been a bit confused about though is some of the new daily insights been iffy, particularly one that’s a joke about “pregaming pms” which is meant to be light hearted but the phrasing is odd and it’s been recycled a few times, I think the effort to be like relatable and chill in some of the newer content has been a bit clunky in my opinion. Overall though this is the best period tracker app in my opinion and absolutely the easiest in accurately tracking my cycle and symptoms!

    If you have an inconsistent cycle this app will not be for you. I have been struggling to track my cycle using this app. Every now and then I may miss a period due to other health conditions. Once my period has been missed the tracker will stop moving all together. It’s very difficult for me to figure out what phase I will be on. Even after entering the most recent dates where I did have a period it just does not work unless you have a consistent period.

    I used this app for years and typically never write reviews but this app is maybe my favorite app ever. It’s given me so much validation from being able to see my estrogen and other hormone levels at every point of my cycle. Only wish is if there was a cramp pain scale. As someone with endo this would be nice but instead of a scale I just write in my pain level in the area to add comments about the day.
