Come on Humminbird. Countless fishermen uses your products and spend thousands! Get the app working properly! Can’t even keep it open for more than 2 mins before crashing!

I’m not an IT professional, but I have no problem with most home or work tech, so I consider this just a poor app. Chartview is unreliable and not working at all just now — spinning wheel — maybe that’s because my Xplore unit is currently on my ice shuttle. But in the new boat of my dreams, the “Network” doesn’t work as a proper network of Xplore units in any way that I consider adequate or worth the considerable investment made in state-of-the-art Humminbird electronics. What is the point of an Ethernet hub if the networked units are not truly integrated, sharing stored data easily and not just live transducer readings? And yes, maybe I should re-read all the lousy pdfs start-to-finish or watch tons of extra videos (unlike other tech that just seems to work). Or maybe I should just eBay everything and start over with another brand. The hardware is great, but this app is trash.

App is could be good but always closes itself whenever I pull up chart view or trolling motor remote
They removed the “Humminbird” App - Now we have to pay all over again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel this is necessary.
So they totally removed the old “Humminbird” app from the Apple App Store coincidentally removing my old account.
Now I am expected to create an entirely new account and pay $100+ dollars for all of my local lake maps again.
Humminbird just seems to be another corporation totally driven and compelled by greed in our country.
$4K-$10K priced forward facing sonar units don’t seem to be enough for them they have to screw everyone else as well.

The contour data is fantastic but the app is almost unusable. It crashes all the time, and makes you click 5 times to get back to the map. It makes me want to go back to avionics. They really make this app usable or find somebody who can.
Crashes, every 30 seconds and won’t work

I do not recommend this app. I bought this app in June used it at one tournament, marked 15-20 waypoints. The app crashed and I had to reinstall it, lost all of my weight points. Now 4 weeks later I got a new cellphone and everything transferred over but now the app just freezes and says downloading charts and won’t do anything at all.

This app is basically useless. Don’t waste your time and money on the maps because your devices won’t even show up. Hummingbird needs to fix this app. Maybe take some notes from the garmin guys. Not a single issue with the active captain app. What a disappointment. DO BETTER!

I can’t even get an account started, i’m stuck on account verification with a 5 digit code that doesn’t work. Resending a code doesn’t work either. Nothing in my spam or junk. Good thing this motor came with a remote. I’m tempted to return this and go with a different brand.
Can’t create routes

I followed the mobile app guide PDF provided in the app to try and create routes to upload to my unit and could not for the life of me find “Route” in the Mark menu as it instructed me to do. I requested a call-back to get some help. Guy told me the devs removed that feature and doesn’t know why or if it will come back. Was really looking forward to this feature, especially since I spent $2k on a fish finder to not get the main thing I wanted it for… can I get an answer on why I can’t do this?
Really wish I could use the charts

Pretty frustrating when the app won’t load the charts that you subscribe to. Every time I try to open the charts it constantly says charts loading. Can someone please help me? I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I’ve repaired it to my minn Kota power drive.
