    Can’t believe the quality of this reading program. My son asks me to do it every single day without fail. I love that we do it together and the pacing of the lessons. Plus, the visuals, sounds, and game board format are just amazing—such a lovely user experience. Watching my 4YO progress so seamlessly is like actual magic. He’s my oldest and I was nervous about teaching him to read, but this is making it so easy and fun. Hardest part is literally trying to do just one lesson a day. Thank you guys for the work and effort you put into this.

    We began reading.com when my son was in kindergarten as a way to peak his interest in reading. It worked, but it wasn’t until my son entered first grade and demonstrated severe regression in reading that the app became a staple in our lives. My son started the year at the 5th percentile for reading, in the high risk category. It just was not clicking for him, and he was becoming more and more frustrated with the stories the teacher was sending home for him to read. I decided to forego those entirely and we became diligent about reading.com. In the span of three months, he went from a struggling non-reader at the 5th percentile to a slow but steady decoder at the 37th percentile. After another 4 months, my son completed the program! His automaticity has improved leaps and bounds, and his confidence in reading has also skyrocketed. Reading.com was the difference maker!

    I recently downloaded the app for my 5 and a half year old to help him. I had his two older sibling reading before they turned 5 by using a book called Teach Your Child to Read in 100 easy Lessons. I tried that book with this son but he wasn’t interested in it. This app is the exact same concept as that book! But it’s more interesting to this son so he is participating in the lesson on the app whereas he won’t for the book. Same way of teaching the phonics and then having them read a story, uncover the picture, and then check comprehension. I knew that method worked… I just couldn’t get this child engaged. Glad it’s in a game/app that is able to get him excited and participating. And of course, it’s already working!
