This app is a really important tool for new coders like me! My friend originally recommended I use this tool and so glad she did. I had even tried other apps but none I really meshed with. I recently passed my CPC exam and am currently developing my skills using Practicode, my physical books, and the iCoder app. Even though I still use my physical coding books (and some experienced coders might not need to), this app is a great extra tool that I am very thankful for. The best part is the speed and accuracy of the official ICD-10-CM 2025 and CPT 2025 codes. It lets me quickly check my work and makes sure my codes are correct way faster than looking through pages to double check accuracy (like the digit count for icd10cm codes). The iCoder app works perfectly as a learning supplement. Being able to search and verify codes so quickly saves me a lot of time and helps build my confidence. I especially appreciate the built-in compliance checks, like the NCCI Edit Checker, which is super helpful for avoiding bundled codes. The quick code look-up is also great because it includes components of the  Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS tool), such as Relative Value Units (RVUs), the global period, the professional/technical component split, and the bilateral surgery indicator (which helps with laterality information), which makes coding accurate. The inclusion of a comprehensive modifiers list is also amazing. I also appreciate the embedded anesthesia codes and ASA base units, which is excellent.  iCoder even includes additional related guidelines and linked ICD-10 codes for comprehensive context. Plus, the feature that lets me add notes to my codes is amazing as a reference tool. I can put important rules and reminders right there for quick look-up. The app also has other references like HCPCS, ICD10PCS, and NDC codes. This app is essential for anyone who is new to coding or wants to make their daily workflow much simpler. It is also amazing that they really do consider suggestions to improve the app. I look forward to your future enhancements. Great work iCoder team.

I have been using iCoder for years now and it is easily the best app on the market for fast and accurate coding. The search function is the best part, it does a great job of predicting what you’re looking for and then displaying relevant and similar codes. The user interface is clean and simple, but details for each code are easily accessible. I use it for complex cases, and my coders use it to check my codes. 5/5!

There was a problem opening some of the codes, I messaged them, they responded and fixed the problem ON THE SAME DAY! That is excellent service!

This is a great app I continue to use in residency to log appropriate CPT codes and to familiarize myself with diagnosis and procedure codes. Highly recommend.

I love to use icoder; it is easy to use and navigate. Have everything that I need to get my work done. I searched for my CPT code, which gave me all the information required, including the fee schedule to complete my claims. The ICD-10 is updated to the 2023 version. No more ICD-10 or CPT books to buy. I recommend it.

This app made me ditched using search engines for codes. It has everything you need. Although the older version was easier to use and navigate around, this new version is also simple to use.

Great program initially. I bought it every year. Now, however it transitioned to something harder to use. The log in says sharing personal data. No obvious way to open it otherwise, either. It was clean Easy affordable and usable. Now it is more complex and the options are also a bit confusing. The developer, however is quite responsive and eager to continually improve. RDLevin MD

I have had this app for almost 6 months and it worked great at first. But now every time I try to open it it has the wheel like it is trying to connect and it NEVER opens. Never loads and just stays on a welcome peg at best. The data is cloud based from what I understand, which is great when it connects. And terrible when it cannot - which is now the normal. I have tried deleting and reinstalling. I keep my phone up to date with all Apple updates. Now instead I use my old 2017 iCoder, because it is not web-based and has all of the data downloaded already. This is terrible since I pay the annual premium to have the current iCoder and it is supposed to automatically purchase the next year’s data. That subscription will now be cancelled due to the inability to properly function.
