Worthless

No local storage: Can’t even remember hosts on the device for the limited free version. The paid version should allow syncing, but to not even save on device is just showing pure greed.
No 1Password integration: Can’t connect to servers using public/private keys stored in 1Password.
Plenty of alternate iOS apps that are better for free or cheaper.
Seems they are more focused on making games instead of updating their original core apps like Transmit.
Warning: do not buy the lifetime license

These guys promised a perpetual license with prompt 2 and what they call lifetime will be removed from the App Store when they’re ready to panhandle for prompt 4
Continues to improve

Prompt like the rest of Panic’s Mac apps continues to improve as time goes on. Hopefully this one will stand the test of time and continue to see updates into the future.
Recently I’ve had issues getting the app to work with Emacs, but Jesus at Panic support is very helpful.
Disappointing

I’ve lost access to my previous purchases of coda, transmit and prompt. Now even with prompt 3 losing all functionality I paid for in the past… while having to buy a new version is pretty disappointing.
Terrible value

Accidentally signed up for the subscription and figured I might as well try prompt. Doesn’t even have the functionality for alt macros on iPhone, so I can’t even use nano. The free tier of terminus has this.
Find another developer who respects their customers

Been a user of Panic apps for a long time. Prompt 3 is what eliminated any desire to continue to be a Panic customer. In the “Limited Free Mode”, you can’t access any features beyond manually typing an address/username/password every time you want to connect. Prompt 2 stopped receiving updates and was removed from the App Store in favor of this new version with either a subscription of $20/year or a $99 “lifetime” license. $99 for an SSH app is outrageous. That’s 10x the price of Prompt 2’s license. If I buy this, what guarantee do I have that I won’t have to buy Prompt 4 in 5 years once my value as a customer has run out? I’ll pass on finding out and go find another SSH app and developer.
Bait and switch

They deleted their old app for the app store so now I can't even sync it to my new iPhone. 1-star rating is well deserved, do not give them money they'll just release Prompt 4 😂😂😂
PERFECT, but needs alt as meta for emacs

Really excellent simple, accurate ssh client! Panic sync is great. Honestly five stars, but the lack of a setting for alt-key-as-meta support on iOS/iPadOS hardware keywords makes it 50% less usable for my remote development needs, and kind of negates much of the reason I purchased a subscription…
How to Pay?

Hello! Awesome app. But how can i pay outside of the apple store for the subscription? Apple has has issues with their payment processing for a few months now and i’m unable to pay for the app.. Any other options?
Amazing, fast, powerful and stable

This app has served me so well on iOS and iPadOS and I’m very excited to kick the tires on macOS with the same purchase.
