I love the daily testimonials / reflections on daily mass readings bwo video vignettes. Really helps me hear other Catholics in their journey of faith and strengthens my own.     I’m very impressed by the Ascension app. The Bible in a Year is very helpful. The capability of hearing Fr. Mike read any book of the Bible is very worthwhile, especially when doing an Ascension Study such as The Bible Timeline or Luke. I’m currently doing the Divine Mercy Novena with Fr. Chris.

    I was a subscriber since day 1 when there were more bugs than a farm but i stuck it out and it got better, then apple released an iOS update and suddenly i couldn’t log into the app anymore and when I finally got it fixed I’d lost all my progress. Next update, same. Last update, I canceled. I’m sticking with hallow even if I have to go check the words they use because they seem to have their very own Bibles.

    Awesome app and it offers so much and I highly recommend!!! My wife and I have been using the Ascension app since it was released back in June 2023 and it was great at that time and even better now as they add new podcasts, studies, and other content. Thanks to the Ascension app, I always have the Bible right at my fingertips even if I am outside the country without a connection or in airplane mode the Bible is still available to read. The app has many great Bible studies and other faith studies and many answers to questions throughout the Bible. The Ascension app also has the Catechism of the Catholic Church and also has daily short reflections and a saint of the day. So many wonderful resources and easy to use app, highly recommend! Thank you so much Ascension Press Team for all your work on it!

    Hello, I am a traditional Catholic and I would like to the Church return to its traditional roots. That said, this is a good start for people interested in the faith. When priests are making money in a capitalistic fashion from apps and YouTube and the likes, they are subject to all the same temptations that all humans are subject to. Gaining followers, monetizing content etc etc. the less priests are sacrificing from their division from secular society the less likely they are to stand up and say “wait a minute, I’ve devoted my entire life to the Church; ie celebacy, giving up their rights to a family and all that comes with it. The more secular pie they allow themselves the less they will fight to keep the church the strong and traditional. It’s human nature. YouTube in particular is an enemy of the Church and to stay monetized you have to stay with in their guidelines and to gain viewers and work their algorithm effectively you have to sacrifice from tradition. That said, I’ve learned from these priests, I’ve learned what I like about the church and what I don’t like. Just keep in mind that there’s lots of priests who commit entirely to God and to the Church and to take away from their unimaginable sacrifices by watering down the faith is not fair. But if you’re reading this whether you agree with me or not one thing we can come together on is our love for Jesus. God bless you all and stay strong in your faith! Amen
