The perfect place to find amazing recipes to wow may crowd. The only problem is that the website is down frequently. As a paying customer and foodies, it can be very disappointing. Other than that, 5 stars.

I do not like the new app. It’s constantly unreliable and glitchy. I don’t know why you changed it but it doesn’t work consistenly. I’m also not a fan of the printing format that takes reams of paper.
  • Very Dissapointing

Absolute waste, constantly logs me out and then claims Im not a subscriber even though Ive got 9 months left of a year long paid subscription. A nightmare to try to use. Every time I open it something goes wrong: crashes, freezes, logs me out, claims Im not a subscriber. What Ive managed to access of the content is great, but the app itself is a disaster. Very dismayed that what I thought was a reputable company is peddling what feels like fraud. The customer service team always blames Apple, but none of my other subscriptions through Apple have ever had any glitch. This is the only one, and its so constant that the app basically unusable. I regret this purchase.
  • Crashes a lot on iPad

Crashes a couple times a month. Paid subscription to app doesn’t translate to Bon Appetit website. I just pay to keep access to ten years of saved recipes.
  • They charged $ for it and it got worse

I used to love this app. I saved over 100 recipes. Then they started to charge for its use. Ok, I get that. But after I paid for my subscription all of my saved recipes disappeared! Their customer service and support were of no help. Then I was blocked from the app and went through two emails, four different customer service reps on the phone at Epicurious and Conde Naste who couldn’t even find my account! I am done. I canceled subscription. Corporate mismanagement and incompetence ruined a great app again. Congratulations.
  • Some of the worst UX

Constantly need to sign in. Lags all the time. Cannot copy and paste all content from mobile (for meal planning). Beyond mostly great content, the app is so frustrating I often avoid even opening it.

Used to be a subscriber to Gourmet and BA for years. This app is useless and I have deleted it
  • Comically Buggy

It usually doesn’t load at all. When it does, the search function is a nightmare. Saved recipes are not categorized. It will “refresh” in the middle of using a recipe and take you back to the Home Screen so you’re forced to find it, and your spot, all over again. It gets 2 stars instead of one because the recipes are housed there when it works.
  • Do not fall for it

Do not fall for the free trial. They make it insanely difficult to cancel your subscription. There is no online cancel option. You have to email customer support who will have no idea what you are talking about. I have sent nearly a dozen different emails trying to cancel the free trial. Then after being told it was cancelled I was charged for the subscription nearly a month later. I am still trying to get this thing cancelled and my money refunded. Just stay away. Plus, the content is not that great. America’s Test Kitchen is orders of magnitude better.
