    I have my app set to US dollars. When i payed for a flight it showed that i would be charged in euros but i got charged in pounds which caused me to have to pay 30$ more. Mistake on my end for not being sure but they make it hard with the constant changing of currency. Ive never paid for anything in pounds or euros so why did the app do this? 🤔

    I had two major problems with booking.com last year. Somebody stole a password to my account and used my saved credit card to book a condo in Cyprus for two weeks. I immediately called and emailed booking.com, however they told me it was against their policies to cancel the reservation and refund me! What a joke! Had to dispute with my bank to get my money back. The second time I booked a pretty expensive hotel in St Augustine for my anniversary. Selected “Early Check-in” option at booking.com and payed extra for that. Needless to say, the hotel could not accommodate early check-in. Called booking.com and their suggestion was to book a different hotel and loose all money for my original reservation! Thanks so much booking.com, had to wait extra 5 hours to check-in because of you! Oh, and the $50 resort credit, that was part of the upgrade they sold me was nowhere to be found either. Never again.

    They reserve, charge your credit card and next day cancel. Customer service they don’t know nothing about, they only answer that I need to wait and wait, they don’t have any communication whit airlines and don’t care about it. It’s very hard to deal when you’re traveling. Hope they do a better job. I stop using booking because of the uncertain things that they always do.

    Charged in full for rental property, then property owner cancelled reservation and hasn’t refunded my money $3,000 USDA - I’ve provided all documentation needed and still no refund 30 days later

    Used it now for several trips in the US, Western Europe and the Balkans and it never let us down once. Now it does not work. I contacted Support and after hours on the phone they just denied their app was causing the double bookings that they charged me a cancellation fee only to get a message from the hotel in question that they waived the cancellation fee. Called support again and so far no cigar.

    Had an issue with a hotel that I booked through Booking and I am fighting tooth and nail to get help in resolving this matter and it has been almost 3 months. This is my first time in all my years of dealing with booking.com that I have ever had an issue with them but this has definitely left a bad impression and I am not happy.
  • Bad customer service

    I booked small hotel room in Burgos, Spain for Sat. and Sun. On booking.com, it shows the reception is open at 2:00 pm. I arrived at 3:15 pm. Lobby is locked. Host will not answer call or text. Only reached her through booking message board. She texted back: will be there at 4:30 pm. She expects me to wait in the tai for 1 hour 15 minutes. After I finally got in. There is no WiFi. Host messaged me that she will come 12 hours later to check on the WiFi. When I called booking.com customer service the 2nd time, he hanged up on me while I talking. Terrible customer service. I would give a negative 5 if there’s such options.
