i used to LOVE Pinterest, i still do. I could spend hours upon hours on Pinterest. but since all of the ads took over I can only spend a few minutes a week on it. YOU ARE LOSING BUSINESS!! are the adds worth what you’re losing?? i hate Pinterest now. it takes up space on my home screen. The adds are also unnecessary and sometimes inappropriate. I don’t need diaper ads, and funny enough, i’m infertile, this is extremely triggering for me. After not moving this app on my home screen for almost 14 years I will be deleting my account and the app off my phone.

Im about to delete my account if openAI buys pinterest, theres already too much AI on the platform, too much being any, and the ads are outrageous, I hope they fix their mistake or someone makes a better app thats also not sensitive and glitchy and 90% ads n ai slop BOOOOOO PINTEREST 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

Hit the back button Pinterest often rebuilds the feed instead of restoring it, which causes the page to reload at the top.

Currently, Pinterest has been my new obsession. I have been using it for a couple weeks now and it great! I can find recipes, things to sketch, aesthetic pics, nice outfits, and so much more. I am enjoying using this app and it has become one of my favs

As a creative I’ve always loved Pinterest, and like many other artists I grew up using it. It has always been an incredible resource for anyone wanting to make anything. These days it’s completely overrun with ads and AI generated content. Completely inspiration killing and a huge bummer. I hope one day Pinterest starts listening to their community, but it actually seems like they intend on selling the platform to openAI. A smack in the face to the community who got the app where it is today. If this happens I will no doubt be deleting my account among many others.

Is a really inspiring app, without the toxicity that other social media might have. It motivates me to keep going, try new things, learn, and get inspired, expressing myself by images and art that reflect my thoughts and emotions, and boost my productivity!!

Literally over half of my feed is ads now and the pins that aren’t ads are littered with AI no matter how often I make sure I have it turned off. If Pinterest sells to OpenAI I will delete my account for good. One of the only good apps left and it’s getting RUINED!!!

The majority of your users want nothing to do with AI, we have grown up using this app and have come to love it, its an escape to visualize what you want in your life and to find inspiration and nothing about AI is inspirational, you are simply destroying your own app when there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. Its so disappointing and I never wouldve thought PINTEREST of all things would support something that is rapidly destroying our planet

Have loved Pinterest literally for 10 years and all it is now is ads ads ads I can’t find inspo for anything from actual people. Truly disappointing from a once great app.

A.I. slop and I’m getting emails that some of my pins are being removed for being against community guidelines. All I post is knitting/sewing content????
