My kids play with their friends. They really enjoy it a ton of games to play.

This update sucks this update made it easier for preds to get in just by using someone else's picture and you can't even chat with anyone which defeats the point of the game like why change friends to connections if we can't even connect... make it make sense.

Obviously we know that the age checking system is straight BOOTY. I’m 14 turning 15 in three months. I’m the oldest of 7 cousins. The second oldest being TEN. How on earth am I going to be allowed to chat and interact with my own family on this app anymore? Here’s the real kicker. I’m 14 almost 15 right..? On THREE accounts so far I have been placed into the 18-20 age group and Roblox changed my year from 2011 to 2007 making me 19 instead of my actual age. I don’t have an ID obviously so how am I supposed to even be able to get into the right age group..? My point is.. if a minor like me is able to get into an ADULT age group I’m sure adults can get into minor groups. Thinking of it I’ve don’t some research on TikTok a little (I know it’s not the best place to do research but I wanted to get some information from actual players on the platform) and 20 year olds were getting into the 16-17 age group which is actually unsettling. Last thing, I play a game called Vally prison on Roblox. It’s a really fun game go check it out. Anyway I love going into the vc servers to use my voice to chat to people and like TEN people in the server I can’t even talk to and it ruins the game because sometimes the director won’t be in my age group so o can’t even be proper instruction. All in all Roblox should completely remove the cat age groups because it’s super annoying and doesn’t help anyone.

i’ve been a player since 2017, and to my absolute shock and horror this morning i’m disconnected from my friend from 2020 because of the age group update. i was wrongly placed in the 21+ group, and now i can’t talk to anyone. this game is absolutely horrible and is unplayable.

WHY YOU GET RID OF CHAT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE FRIENDS HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO COMMANDS IN MY PRIVATE SEVER ….youtubers are also upset with you getting rid of chat😒.. you better bring it back or it’s a one star :(

You think that it’s helping but it’s not, and maybe we should be able to retry it so I can talk to my actual friends since you categorized me wrong, and people can so obviously fake their age and everything. It’s so stupid and I can’t even talk to my little brother anymore, maybe you could make it where if both people agree to be able to chat then you can chat? Because now I can’t talk to my brother and some of my friends since they are in the age group below me and my brother is 2 groups below me.

I like Roblox, it’s a very fun and can be an educational game. But what I don’t like is I found out that yesterday Chad has been removed for some users. Specific users. I didn’t do anything wrong. I didn’t say any bad things or do anything wrong it’s usually for the younger kids, but how is that supposed to be fair? How are we supposed to play role-play games with other people play other games that requires chat and other games like that. They say that we can connect with people and have a fun experience. How are we supposed to connect with people if we can’t even talk to them? This is why I do not like Roblox.

I am 18. I got put in the 16+ age group to talk to. I have two minor siblings who live in a different state than me that I am no longer going to be able to talk to, and a boyfriend who is older than me who is smart enough to not feed his face into an ai that I am also not going to be able to talk to as we play. This update is by far the most useless update ever. All it takes is a predator getting into a minor age group and then he has unlimited access to victims with no adults or even older teenagers around to report the suspicious behavior. Roblox has taken the cheap way out. They are lazy and inefficient and allow predators even easier ways to be predatory to children. this is not a safe space for kids and it never has been

I understand the age thing I guess but I’m uncomfortable with the fact we have to show our faces also the ai was wrong for me and maybe other people we want to have fun and chat with other people not just people of our age what if we have best friends in irl that are older?what if we want to talk to other people instead of the people in our age thing?I might regret sending this but I’m saying this for everyone pls rethink this :)I’m not 9-12 btw I’m 13 years old actually almost 14 this year!I feel hurt that they think I’m that young because of my face!now I need a ID?I loved roblox now it just doesn’t work anymore why would I play if I can’t talk with my friends tha are maybe older or younger that I’m comfortable now I’m gonna be placed with random people because of my age people 9-12 I’m 13!

The game is good but with the new chat update, SO MANY games are ruined cause they function either chat so people can talk to eachother. This is just annoying cause no one can really socialize with others and the new update ruined it..
